He started to paint the scenery outside, the smile on his face making him seem like a little mad. But of course he was mad, who else could be made to be with such madness in their eyes. He was, who destroyed his family , who destroyed him and made him a monster. But no matter, there were many things who hid behind the shadows. Like his damn personality disorder, that was one monster he could not control. He did find a calming attitude in painting.
It seemed that was the only sport that he could actually say that would soothe him. But staring now at the black and dark hues of the painting as well as the upside down of the cross. Whoever knew the symbolism knew exactly what it meant. But so far he was in need for a more pleasure company a woman to be exact. But no woman seemed to be wanting to come near him. Either way , there was a nature that he was expecting to come from this one person who would care for him.
Hearing the door to his room unlock, he started to turn around as he wondered who could it be that was trying to enter his room. He was wondering if maybe he should kill the man as well for disturbing his peace. He was also wondering if maybe he was having another attack because of his mood swings , god how he hated himself. He loved himself sometimes, but today was not the day that he was feeling jolly to the bone.
Slipping out a cigar from his cigar box, he plucked it to his lips and started to take a puff. God this was sweet release.

Gloria wasn’t sure how long she’d spent wandering now. This Australia place… so many empty areas… it had been enough time to use up the food Max had packed for her before he sent her on her way, anyway.
At least she’d found a place with more people now. A little scrounging for food, a little begging off people, and she’d had enough to keep her fill for the time being. A couple of times she’d almost had a run-in with official-type people, but she’d hid away before they saw her each time. Oh, maybe they would have helped her, and that would have been alright, but… that was more a last resort than anything.
She needed to find someone to stay with again. I can’t stay alone… die of cold… Maybe soon she could find a hospital and stay there happily for always, but for now, she just had to find someone to stay with. Maybe it would even turn out alright.
She watched people going back and forth in front of an apartment building, before finally… well, at the very least, it looked like a nice place to stay. She peered through some windows, until finally she found one that looked pleasant enough. There was a man there looking outside… maybe they’d be able to work out a deal. So she went in and slipped through the hall. Once she found the door… it wouldn’t be difficult, she’d seen this a lot of time… there, she still had those two pins Max had given her… he’d have to talk to her now… there, there was the click. ~~~ Gloria stood by the door to the room, clutching her jacket tightly over a loose, threadbare blouse. “I’m looking for a place to stay… I won’t be difficult and I’ll help you with things so you’ll be very glad that you let me.” She stepped forwards, shakily holding up a bag. “I have a few things of my own, you won’t have to trouble about that. If you don’t let me stay I’ll probably end up alone on the street and I’ll be cold and maybe I won’t find anything to eat. But you’ll be nice and not let anything like that happen, won’t you? Maybe you aren’t and I’ll die…”
She moved over to look at his painting. She stared at it, getting closer. “Did you make that? It’s really nice… I like that you make something like that… it’s really beautiful.” She looked back to stare at the man. Looking into his eyes… if only that could somehow tell her what sort of man he’d turn out to be… if only, somehow, there’d ever be someone who would turn out different…
